Kris Lyon 

Kristopher Lyon, MD. is a practicing physician board certified in both Emergency Medicine and EMS Medicine. He serves as the Health Officer and EMS Medical Director for a large county in the Central Valley of California. Dr. Lyon has been a reserve deputy and medical director for a law enforcement SWAT team for over 15 years. In the past he has worked as an EMT for multiple ambulance services providing 911 response and event medicine coverage in California and in Pennsylvania. Additionally, he worked as a Paid Call Firefighter in San Luis Obispo and as a volunteer firefighter in Pennsylvania. Dr. Lyon completed level I and level II modular law enforcement academies in Riverside and has served as a reserve deputy on a law enforcement rescue helicopter. For the past six years he has served on the board of directors of the Commission on Accreditation of Ambulance Services and previously served on the board of directors of the EMS Medical Directors Association of California. He lives on the Central Coast of California with his wife and their two children.
